There is nothing to 'Ban' you from, the game do not connect to a 'central server' that you can be 'Banned' from (You can even play Borderlands 2 (And I assume BL2:TPS too) offline without even being on the internet). There is no possible mechanic for such a function. No matter what the EULA says, they (gearbox) can not physically prevent you from launching, and playing the game.
